Perazim Magazine Award 2022: King Karine takes her rightful place in Perazim history

As I celebrate the 5th anniversary of our Magazine, the top 25 creatives, our 21st edition, and our final edition for 2022, I proudly acknowledge Perazim Magazine’s spectacular shining star with the Perazim Magazine Award.

Today, I'm delighted to formally announce Karine Lawani, also known as King Karine, as the first-ever recipient of the brand-new Perazim Magazine Award for 2022. 

As a result, she officially becomes the 25th person to complete our top 25 creatives list for 2022, and she is now the first-ever person to be featured in Perazim Magazine several times, further demonstrating her immense and contagious influence.

The inaugural Perazim Magazine Award

Now before anyone gets into their feelings over this accolade and whether it is deserved: The title “Perazim Magazine Award” has little to do with opinions and much more to do with an exceptional creative whose interviews with us stand the test of time, who has a positive attitude to life, and who has shown continued respect towards Perazim Magazine as a publication. *Note* The pool of creatives was reviewed from Issues #1 – #20 (October 2017 – July 2022)

These are the main ways we measure who deserves the award, and King Karine undisputedly embodies these standards. Also, I would be ungrateful if I did not mention that our sales increased immensely for Issue #17 and Issue #20 with King Karine simply promoting online. For this, I’m continually grateful.

If you’re reading this, and you do not know who King Karine is, it’s okay, it’s fine – let me explain logically. She is a proud Black Irish woman and at a glance, to some, she is an influencer, but there’s more to her, she’s a Mother, a successful business owner, and a content creator.

Of course, there is plenty more to her, however, these are the gifts she chooses to showcase largely online. To summarise, she can be called many positive things and perhaps there are no words to explain her professional title but for argument’s sake let’s say she is a:

“Grand multi-creative.”

So if you see her in real life, you know how to address her possibly.

I hope to achieve all the things God has set up for me in the future.

This beautiful scripture is included in King Karine’s official Instagram bio and in this verse, Solomon continues to describe the value of wisdom. He says wisdom is more precious than jewels, and nothing anyone might desire can compare with wisdom.

Proverbs uses wisdom about something more than mere intelligence, or knowledge. This choice of verse to put in her bio tells you that she knows wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge in a godly way. That capacity to follow God’s will is incredibly valuable, more so than any material possession ever would be. 

Her sheer kindness, respect, and honesty make it no surprise that she is the most deserving candidate for the Perazim Magazine Award. The moment I discovered her, it was clear that her social media presence transcended the trappings of the norm, thus reaching all types of people both in the United Kingdom and overseas.

She is unabashedly personal, and always steers clear of online drama, gossip, and everyday troll comments.

I hope to make those around me proud including my daughter.

There is courage about her given by linking charisma, intelligence, and coolness in equal measure. She derides popularity, acknowledging that popularity and its various add-ons are merely transitory.

An unfiltered and humble speech from King Karine, the winner of the Perazim Magazine Award 2022

“Honestly, where do I begin? I can’t believe I was chosen for such an award in my life. I’ve always wanted to put my best foot forward, to let people see the creative mind that I have, and to inspire others. I never thought that I would be so celebrated. 

I never thought I would be so accepted. I never thought I would be recognised, so all I can say is I’m truly grateful. I’m truly humbled, and I wholeheartedly accept the Perazim Magazine Award. I only hope to inspire more people and put my best version of myself forward. 

Not only that, but I hope to achieve everything God has set up for me in the future. I hope to make those around me proud, including my daughter and just to keep doing what I’m doing until I’m a billionaire because of it.”

Switching to her carefully released video vlogs, she naturally bares real emotions while presenting herself on camera as if she’s on TV. Her relatable and candid take on personal matters and life in general, makes her connect with her audience that much more. 

TV is King

King Karine’s online presence is almost like watching TV, with her various looks and charm that arguably keep everyone watching with eager eyes on what is to come. This approach isn’t easy to maintain, but she keeps viewers intrigued and influenced on many levels.

Yet nobody is perfect in this world, and she will be the first to say that she is still cautiously navigating life. From our perspective, however, she is doing a great job so far, and I’m confident this will continue.   

King Karine’s interview in Issue #17 is uplifting and insightful, reminding women to love their natural bodies and to remain authentic despite external judgement.

In Issue #20, her attention switches firmly to new motherhood whilst tapping into her other ventures such as business and social influence.

Despite her long social media presence, she has managed to keep her finger on the online pulse, constantly growing her following and professional opportunities. She does so largely because of her ability to make herself accessible, using photos, videos, and her smooth voice effectively when she has a chance.

Overall, her grasp of the internet as a medium has been admirable and unbeatable. She has unbelievable intelligence in marketing, and public relations and a remarkable synergy that merges passion with empowering yet heartfelt social media captions. This winning combination has overshadowed her fellow influencers for a long time. 

Closing statement

Ultimately, her self-awareness is incredibly sharp, which makes her stand out from everyone around her, much like a King does. And we wonder why she’s called King Karine. 

Talking about wondering, are you wondering what’s next for King Karine? Probably something totally out of the ordinary, that will have people watching the King like its TV.
