The staple items you didn’t know your wardrobe needed!

Do you ever look at the contents of your wardrobe and feel a little overwhelmed with what to wear? Or maybe find it overwhelming knowing what items to piece together? Personally, I find if you have a few staple pieces in your wardrobe that you can count on, the outfit will fall into place.

1. The high-waisted Mom jean – versatile, perfect for all body types, easy transition from day-night vibes, especially when paired with black lace-up slingbacks and a cute shirt!

2. The printed split midi-skirt – a gorgeous statement piece for all seasons; wear with knee high boots and a polo neck for cosy autumn vibes or, a plain tee, leather jacket and mules for a more chilled look.

3. The crisp white shirt – sexy, sophisticated, and simple. It’s a classic combination for any look and just adds that touch of luxe to your wardrobe. This versatile piece can be reused in many ways: the classic look with tapered pants and gold accessories; the off-duty look with straight leg jeans and trainers; the ‘colour-pop’ pairing it with a bold trouser or skirt for that statement look, and the stylish cover-up for those bikini-loving beach days!

4. The trusty LBD – Ever since I was a little girl, Posh Spice had raved about the little black dress, and now, as an adult, I know why! The sassiest, reliable dress of them all. Take your time to find the perfect dress that clings to your curves and accentuates your beautiful body and you’ll be set for life.5. The pointed-toe flats – We’re ending the top 5 staples on a high with the timeless pointed-toe flats. They’re the perfect accompaniment for your 9-5, followed by date night at 7. Pointed-toe styles are pure magic when it comes to making your legs look longer and leaner, and unlike heels, your feet won’t be hating on you at the end of the night!
