When I think of fashion for the winter months, I think of two colour palettes; one is dark colours such as black, navy blue, dark grey and dark browns, and the other is a stark contrast; white, beige & cream. The former is a palette most people gravitate towards for the winter months. However the latter could also work just as well. Whilst a darker palette definitely serves a practical purpose by helping to retain warmth in colder weather, the lighter palette can also give off a cool wintery feel to match the season. You can never go wrong with an oversized white shirt. I love this one from TOPSHOP for the ¾ sleeve detail which makes it a little different from others on the market. Layering is also another popular styling hack for winter. I’ve incorporated some layering into this outfit with this ZARA knit crop top. Boots are all the rage for autumn/winter looks so I went with these pair of thigh-high boots to set off the look. See below for the outfit details.
