Having inhaled every single skincare book, article and trend you can possibly imagine, I can confidently say that I know a thing or two about caring for our skin. After suffering with cystic-adult acne and been blessed with the hereditary ‘South-American oily’ skin, it’s safe to say, I’ve tried every product you can think of. The winter months can play havoc on your skin; cold temperatures and low humidity levels result in dry air that draws the moisture away from the skin. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel my friends and this light is known as, hydration!
Water, moisturiser and facial oil – your three winter essentials. Ensuring you consume enough water (RDA 3.7l for men; 2.7l for women) a light, paraben-free moisturiser twice a day and introducing a facial oil into your PM routine (vitamin c, jojoba oil or rose hip oil are all fab!) will drastically improve the radiance and texture of your skin. So, say adios to dull winter skin and say hello to awakening your inner glow!
